NEW HAVEN POLICE ARREST 4 MINORS FOR ROBBERY AT GUNPOINT AND IDENTIFY SEXUAL ASSAULT SUSPECT IN WISCONSIN
(2/27/2009) NEW HAVEN- New Haven Police arrested four male minors for an incident where a food delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint at 53 County Street. The driver was delivering an order to 53 County Thursday morning when he was approached by two of the suspects at the home and the other two suspects who walked over from across the street with two handguns pointed at him. Witnesses assisted police with information on the whereabouts of the suspects leading to their prompt apprehension and arrest. The four minors were charged with: robbery 1st, conspiracy robbery 1st, larceny 2nd, conspiracy larceny 2nd, carrying a dangerous weapon and carrying a pistol without a permit.
Earlier this week, New Haven Police received notification from the Sherriff’s Department in Kenosha County, Wisc. stating that they had arrested 30-year-old Freddie Antonio Nunez who was wanted on a 2003 warrant for the sexual assault of two juvenile females. Nunez is being held in Wisconsin, awaiting extradition, on four counts of sexual assault and five counts of risk of injury to a minor.
